Powerful Pentium M in paneLink Series

he ever increasing demands of HMI and Controls software require more and more powerful industrial computer systems. However, with that increased speed and power comes increased heat generation. The Pentium M CPU and the paneLink Industrial Panel Computer solves that problem and provides power in a small package. Available with either a 1.6 GHz Pentium M or a 1.2 GHz Celeron M, the new Pentium M microarchitecture meets the demands of high-performance, low-power embedded computing applications. The 1.6 GHz system is actually comparable to a 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 chip in terms of performance and clock-speed.

Not only does the Pentium M increase with processing power, but it also offers increased flexibility with an extensive array of I/O ports, inlcuding two 10/100 Ethernet ports, three RS-232 serial ports and four USB ports. The dual Ethernet ports allow users to run Ethernet I/O to their PLC and still communicate to their corporate network.
